The history of the Krauff tableware brand began over a hundred years ago in the town of Pforzheim, near Stuttgart, Germany.

In a small workshop, artisan Jörgen Krauff lived, worked and created his masterpieces. When choosing what to put his soul into and what to bet his life on, Jörgen always remembered his mother and how she fried pork and cooked dumplings, which he loved so much in childhood. He always wanted to help his mother, so Jörgen, of course, made his first frying pan, made with love and incredible scrupulousness to the smallest details, especially for his mother.

Mr. Krauff was the first in those parts to produce a frying pan with a high side, increasing it almost three times and developing special wooden inserts for a metal handle. It was thanks to his attention to detail that it was possible to achieve low energy consumption for cooking and maintaining the temperature inside the pan and ease of use. The frying pan was so successful that more and more people wanted to keep such a thing in their household. This inspired the master to transform a small workshop into a real manufactory. Production expanded annually and gained considerable size. But Jørgen strove for perfection, not quantity, so his products were produced in small batches and had a reputation for being reliable and functional. In addition, the master was always ready to introduce innovative methods of tableware production, for example, the use of presses and additional hardening of materials.

Throughout the master's life, the name Krauff was associated with his manufactory and high-quality metalware. Unfortunately, after World War II, production was stopped, the workshop was destroyed, and the master himself disappeared, and his name proudly adorned the dishes of a few lucky ones for a long time.

In the mid-20th century, a group of investors led by Vadim Vladimirovich Ermolaev created a company that was later named "Krauff" and continued the work of the great master, the main principles remaining the same attention to detail and innovative approach to production.

Today, Krauff is a European company focused on product excellence, just like the man it was named after. Krauff cookware embodies the traditions of Central European life and the latest production technologies, meeting the needs of the culinary profession.
